1. What kind of speakers does JENSEN make?

2. What kind of warranty comes with JENSEN speakers?
The JENSEN warranty is the industry best. Your speakers come with an unconditional 10 YEAR WARRANTY (1 year on subwoofer amplifiers). Warranty Cards with self addressed envelopes are provided inside the cartons. When you purchase JENSEN speakers simply complete and mail them in within 14 days of purchase to validate your 10 YEAR WARRANTY. No stamp required. If more than one JENSEN purchase, combine all models on the one Warranty Card and return.
3. Where do I place my JENSEN speakers?
Personal preference plays a large part in deciding where to place your speakers. Generally, if you prefer a more pronounced bass response you can achieve this by reducing the distance between the rear of the speaker & the wall or more so by placing them so that the rear of the speaker faces into a corner. For a more neutral sound the rear of the speaker should be approximately 1 metre or more from any reflective surface such as a wall. You should also try to keep the distance from the speakers to the listening position equal to the width that the speakers are apart, so as to form an equilateral triangle between the listener, the left speaker & the right speaker. 4. What type of speaker lead should I use?
For best results we recommend the JENSEN THUNDERWIRE speaker cable. This finely twined silver & blue twist Home Theatre cable is ideal for all JENSEN speaker applications. Twist, rope-like Thunderwire cable does not interference with 240v AC and 12v Low voltage wiring found within ceiling and wall cavities unlike side-by-side speaker cable. 5. Which amplifier should I use with my JENSEN speakers?
Generally, an amplifier with a high output/ wattage will send a cleaner signal at high volume than an amplifier with a lower output/ wattage which will distort the signal progressively as the volume is increased. However, the quality of the amplifier also needs to be considered. A high quality amplifier with a lower output will perform better & produce less distortion than a low quality amplifier with a higher output. Typically, the amplifier will achieve its maximum output with the volume control in the "12 -2 o'clock" position & turning the volume up further will only result in distortion of the sound. 7. Can I still get spare parts for my JENSEN speakers?
Absolutely. We guarantee that you can obtain parts for your speakers for at least 25 years after the date of purchase.
8. How do I have my JENSEN speakers serviced?
You can return your JENSEN item to you place of purchase for forwarding to our nearest service department, or you can take your JENSEN item directly to our Service centres found in the "service centre" page of this website.
9. Can I add feet to my Floorstanding speakers ?
Yes, can you purchase these Factory-direct at an offer only available to those who have purchased our JENSEN speakers. Normally AU$ 99.00, you pay only $48.00 p/set of 8 pcs. Simply order over phone on Melbourne (03) 9873-8448 for 48 hour delivery. Fitting instructions are included. Black Spike Body/ Gold Spike tips and Rubber pads as well as fitting instructions will be dispatched within 48 hours. Simply fit the Spike Bodies and either screw in the Gold Spike tips if your speakers will be standing on carpet or attach the rubber pads if standing on hard surfaces like floor boards, tiles or concrete. 10. Do the JENSEN QX-0.5’s modules come in any other colours?
No, they come in silver only. However, the enclosure is paintable so that you can match the colour of your speaker perfectly to your wall, ceiling or dècor! Simply use colour swatches to identify the desired finish & select the paint. At the time of paint purchase have the paint put into a convenient pump spray pack. Remove the speaker brackets & remove the grille using a scribe or the like. No preparation of the enclosure surface is required, just to be clean is enough. Mask the drivers & apply 2 coats of water base paint only. The QX-0.5 modules are available singularly (half-pairs) for those wanting to add to use a 6th or 7th channel.
11. Is my subwoofer connected correctly?
If you chose to use the "sub out" terminal on the back of your receiver you must ensure that the RCA lead (not supplied) is connected to L or R low level input terminals on the back of the subwoofer amplifier. You may connect to one or both L,R terminals as they are parallelled internally
